Q - What time does the race start?
A - 7:30 AM for the HALF MARATHON/RELAY AND THE 10K
5K AT 7:40.
Q - What time should I arrive?
A - No later than 6:15. Parking is limited.
Q - What is the cap and why does it exist?
A - The cap for 2016 is 1,000 for the half and 300 each for the 5K/10K - though these may change. It depends on some factors we cannot control.
Q - Did the 10K course change or is it the awful 2015 course?
A - We listened to your feedback and changed the course for the 2016 race. We are working on getting it USATF certified.
Q - Are the courses USATF certified?
A - The half and 5K are, the 10K is not.
Q - What is the half course like? How many water stops and where? Portable toilets?

Q - What is the half marathon time limit?
A - 3.5 hours
Q - Are walkers welcome?
A - If finished in 3.5 hours, absolutely.
Q - Where is packet pick up?
A - Cedar Valley SportPlex in Waterloo from noon to 8:00.
Q - Is there race day packet pick up?
A - Yes, it will start at 6:15 and go until 7:00. and there is a cost of $10 that is added to your registration fee for this option.
Q - What if I cannot pick up on Friday and do not want to pay for Saturday pick up?
A - 1) You can have a friend/family pick up for you. 2) You may have your packet mailed to you for $20.
Q - What are the entry fees?
A - Look on each race page FAQ section for details.
Q - Is there a clothing deadline with my entry?
A - YES. August 21 is the deadline to be guaranteed a shirt size. If you missed the deadline, shirts will be handed out on a first come/first served basis starting at 7:00 AM race morning at the yellow registration tent. Find the line and patiently wait. Shirt can be exchanged for a different size, as well at that time.
Q - Is there still a half marathon relay?
A - Yes! 2 - 4 people and any gender combination.
Q - What time do I need to be at the park?
A - Come no later than 6:15 race morning
Q - Will there be registration at packet pick up or race morning?
A - If the cap has not been made - Yes.
Q - Can I transfer to someone else for any reason?
A - Yes. Click HERE for the process. AT PACKET PICK UP IT WILL COST $20 TO TRANSFER.
Q - Can I switch races?
A - Yes, there is an official process that you take care of by following the instructions found HERE
Q - Are there refunds?
A - ONLY if you signed up for the insurance program and if you meet the stipulations. Trekman Racing is not involved in any way with refund insurance and cannot answer any questions, please refer to your registration email for details.
Q - What if I let you know I need a refund an hour after I registered because I forgot about a wedding that day?
A - That is indeed unfortunate, but no.
Q - Will you have a bag drop?
A - Yes
Q - Are strollers allowed? Pets?
A - No - We are very strict about this rule for safety reasons.
