VOTE HERE BY CLICKING 2012RACE DATE IS MARCH 31 TIME - 9:00 AM PLACE - GEORGE WYTH STATE   2010  Over 450 people (21% increase from 2009) came out to enjoy a dry and seasonally decent weather morning race supported by some great sponsors and fabulous volunteers.  Local running great Scott Gall finished in a fantastic 15:35 for the overall win, while Waverly resident Kelly Sampson finished in 20:07 for a win in the female category.  An impressive 21 people finished under 20 minutes on a USATF certified course in the first race of the year in the Cedar Valley, those guys were impressive!  Over half the crowd stuck around for hundreds of dollars of door prizes and many people went away with great deals from sponsor’s the Runner’s Flat, The Other Place restaurant and Elements massage.  Other’s received free Trekman races to enjoy throughout the year. Some great costumes were being worn and I hope to have pictures up soon.  If you have some good ones please send to me for a collage.  Thanks to everyone who came out to run/walk, sponsor or volunteer.  It is much appreciated! 2009  RECORD 365 FINISHERS ON A CRISP MORNING March 28th The snow held off and we enjoyed a good morning to race.  Scott Gall lead the record field of finishers to a great 15:07 and Eva Machuca lead the women finishing in 19:38.  Trekman Racing's new timing system was debuted and we did not lose a step from chip timing last year.  Find out how everyone did by clicking on the results page. Thanks to everyone who particpated, volunteered or sponsored the race.  We grew 13% becuase of good people like all of you! There were some great costumes and everyone who dressed up or painted a face is appreciated. 2008 Race A crisp but clear day greeted a record crowd of 320 (19% growth over 2007) running and walking "fools" for 2008.  The cool temps and flat course resulted in some great times with the top 4 finishers clocking under 16 minutes.  Cody Solverson repeated his winning efforts of 2007 and flew in at 15:23 for first overall while Sarah Gall ran a 19:01 as leader of the women. We had a nice contingent of entrants wearing fun hats and outright costumes.  The top three walked away with gift certifcates to the Runner's Flat, as did 8 other lucky door prize recipients.
