WHAT IS IT?

A race in which the last person can win! Everyone predicts how long it will take to run 3 miles before the race. Then without the use of ANY technology the race begins. Those who have a finish time closest to the predicted time are the winners. No help is allowed, and that includes spectators. You can wear clothing and shoes and that is it.

The number of winners will be dependent on how many enter. What do you win? Runner’s Flat and Trekman Racing gift certificates and some other surprises.

Everyone is invited to make his/her own ice cream sundae post race. Lots of fun toppings will be available to enjoy.

$3 if mailed or dropped off at The Runner’s Flat by August 12th

$5 after and on race evening

Release and waiver – In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby waive and release of myself, heirs, executer or anyone who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue the event directors, event officials or volunteers from all claims or liability for death, personal injury or personal damage of any kind arising out of or on the course of, my participation in this event. I hereby state that I have full knowledge of the risks involved, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown and have conditioned myself to run or walk in this event. I also grant full permission to the event coordinator or agents authorized by them, to have free use of my name and picture in any broadcast, telecast, videotape, print media or any other record of this event for any purpose.
